The servicing of these types of vehicle will require a full gas check - including there is a sealed gas locker, regulator and manifold and the correct gas drop holes and 230v  and 12v inspection, prior to any work being carried out to ensure they comply with statutory laws. Electrical work, or repairs, will only be carried out if a correct wiring diagram can be provided.

This service refurbishes or repairs water heaters, stoves, fridges, space heaters, and combi boilers that run on gas and/or electric. 

I am approved to carry out warranty repairs for -      

Truma, Thetford, Alde, Dometic, Whale, BCA and Sargent Electrical.

The habitation service includes:

A gas soundness & let-by test. 

A check of all gas appliances. 

Check regulators, flexible gas hose & renew if needed.

The electrical systems [12v and 240v] are tested using specialist equipment.

Damp Test - Carry out a full water ingress report using a calibrated damp meter.

Fire safety and security checks include checking fire fighting equipment and carbon monoxide and smoke detectors as recommended by the NCC 

All internal and external locks are inspected and lubricated.

Windows, blinds and roof lights are checked and adjusted where necessary.

Keep your Alde heating system healthy with regular antifreeze changes. After 5 years this is required to validate manufacturer warranty and then every 5 years as recommended by Alde.

The old coolant/antifreeze must be disposed of by an approved recycling company by law.

Service is £225 + vat including the new Antifreeze, and disposal of the old product.
